Fedor residents ‘up in arms’ over disposal well

Fedor residents are up in arms over a commercial oil and gas waste disposal permit application on CR 323 from Placid Operating to the Texas Railroad Commission. A dozen or so landowners near the proposed disposal well were present at Monday morning’s Lee County Commissioners Court meeting at 8 a.m. Four of those residents addressed the commissioners, giving reasons like heavy truck traffic, citizen safety, pollution and noise as to why the County should oppose the permit and do everything possible to dissuade the RR Commission from approving it.
