A RED CROSS Disaster Relief trailer is now stationed at the Lee County Law Enforcement Center. The trailer contains essential supplies that would be used when opening an emergency shelter.

New Red Cross trailer is located at sheriff’s office

The Lee County Commissioners Court met in regular session Monday, Dec. 23. The commissioners were told that the Red Cross trailer had been delivered to the Sheriff’s Office and will be shared by Lee and Fayette County. “By having a Red Cross trailer here, if there’s a disaster we won’t have to wait for one to be brought in to the county,” said Sheriff Rodney Meyer.
